Action series - Hope

Some actions evoke emotions in us, and often certain emotions lead us into taking certain actions. In this series the artist explores the relationship between actions and emotions, and attempts to capture this in a single moment. As the series focuses on interpreting an action, the subjects of these paintings are often dancers who's movements have metaphorical meaning, or people performing different sports, often extreme one, which one would not take on without feeling certain emotions.
